Names, dates & words
- Enter text exactly as you want it — capitalization, spacing and punctuation included.
- Dates work well as 06.14.21 or 6/14/2021. Roman numerals (XIV · VI · MMXXI) are a lovely alternative.
- Each piece shows its character limit. Shorter words look most elegant on small discs.
- Hand-stamped letters are struck one at a time, so spacing and depth vary slightly. That’s the beauty of it.

Coordinates
On a phone, open your maps app, press and hold the exact spot, and copy the numbers shown (for example 40.7128, -74.0060). Paste them into the coordinates field — we format them for engraving and show you a preview before you add to bag.
Handwriting & paw print photos
- Photograph dark ink on light paper, flat and straight-on, in good daylight with no shadows.
- Crop close to the words you want. One to four words engrave most clearly.
- For paw prints, an ink print on white paper or a clear clay impression works best.
- After you order, email the photo to sean@silvarengroup.com with your order number in the subject line — your confirmation page has a button that sets this up for you.
- Photos are used only to make your piece — see our Privacy Policy. We review every photo and will email you if we need a clearer one before production.
Ring sizing
- Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimeters.
- Match it below. If you’re between sizes, choose the larger.

Bracelet sizing
Measure your wrist snugly with a soft tape, then add about half an inch for comfort. Our size options already include that ease.
Necklace lengths
- 16” — sits at the base of the neck
- 18” — at the collarbone; our most popular length
- 20” — just below the collarbone, great for layering
- 22” — above the neckline of most tops
