Information we collect
When you place an order
- Name, email address, shipping address and (optionally) phone number.
- The personalization details you enter — names, dates, coordinates, messages and gift notes.
- Order history and the communications you send us.
Personalization photos
If you email us handwriting or a paw print, we keep the image privately and use it only to prepare and make your piece and to resolve questions about your order. These images are not published, sold or used for marketing. We delete them once your order has been delivered and any return or remake request is resolved, unless you ask us to keep them for a future order. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Payment information
Payments are processed by PayPal and Square. Card numbers and PayPal login details are entered directly into their secure payment fields and are never received or stored by us. We receive only confirmation of payment and limited details such as the payment status, amount and transaction ID. Each provider’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and performance. Your shopping bag is saved in your browser’s local storage so it is still there when you return. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to us.
How we use information
- To make, ship and support your order, including order confirmation and shipping emails.
- To respond to your messages.
- To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in.
- To protect our store against fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the store — for example our payment processors (PayPal and Square), shipping carriers, our email provider and our website host — and only as needed for them to do their job. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and personalization images as described above.
Your choices & rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing sean@silvarengroup.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under state law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
